Josh

I’ve been brought up in a Christian household all my life, and gave my life to God at the age of 7. Despite all the support from my parents I didn’t really understand a lot about Christianity. I went to church, and tried to set a good example to my peers but it ended up being a fad, every Sunday I got fired up for God but by Monday morning I was ignoring him again.

Then one Sunday at Barnabas I went to a prayer meeting in the morning, and felt I should pray, but I was too afraid. I wondered what everyone else would think if I said something stupid. Then a guy called Mark patted me on the back and said “go ahead”, then suddenly God highlighted something on his Nike jacket. It was a small label with just do it inscribed on it. Suddenly I realised that it didn’t matter what people
thought about me being a Christian, all that mattered is what God thought! So now I’m not afraid to admit it to my school mates or anyone else, Hallelujah!
