Daniel

I consider myself very privileged in my upbringing. I’ve always lived in a loving Christian family who despite having their faults have tried their best for me and my brother and I feel now God is beginning to reward that.
Since I have always lived in a Christian family I have been taken to church since a very young age, whether I wanted to or not. As I have always know of the Bible and of God, I became a Christian myself at the age of 13, having seen a number of my friends get baptised and realising that actually, what was said in the Bible was the truth.
Now as could be expected, I struggled through secondary school with a few friends but not that many because of my beliefs. But then I started attending Barnabas in February 2003, and since then I have made many new friends and have a great time socialising aswell as learning more about God.
Since becoming a Christian, not only have I found that God has blessed me with a great group of mates but God has also helped me work through many of the problems and faults that I previously saw in myself and I now feel that God is beginning to mould me into what he wants me to be in the future.
