Hiya. I’m Dave, I was born in Abergele in 1991 and moved to Shrewsbury in 1993. I go to Church Stretton School and go the Bayston Hill Christ Church. My story begins 1 year ago where my life started to fall apart. I got mugged which resulted in me losing my faith and abandoning God. Biggest mistake ever! Before I got mugged I thought I was a complete Christian. I went 2 church and I was kind and peaceful. Anyway back to the story at hand. I was convinced to go to Soul Survivor by two of my Christian friends. I went there thinking that it was going to be a waste of time and money. But little did I know that I was going to be transformed. I met someone called Abi who I had no knowledge of what so ever. So we get talking and make a real connection (spiritually). Anyway I went to sermons and particpated in the worship. When it came down to ministry that’s when I felt God and the Holy Sprit enter my life again, which also resulted in me ending up on the floor several times but hey its all good. Anyway on the last day of Soul Survivor Abi said she felt God was going to give me a gift but I would be too scared to use it. I have now found out what the gift is. It’s the power to heal people through singing in tongues. Which I’m simply amazed by. So this shows in my opinion we all have gifts but we just have to find them in God’s time not ours. God’s timing is perfect.
